I am co-owner of Lubbock Resume
Service. We no longer require an in person visit. We can write a resume for you
regardless of the area you live in. We will communicate with you by email or
phone (we have 800#'s) or both.
There are warnings on the internet that suggest if you can't walk into a
physical location to have your resume written, there is something wrong. I
resent the implications here. Our service is legitimate. We produce a draft for
our clients to approve and will work with that client until he is happy! I tell
my clients, if you can't read your resume and say, "Wow, I'm good!", then it's
not approval ready.
Our service fee is a flat rate. We charge $250. We aren't out to rob you.
Everyone is suffering from the economic downturn. If you are actively seeking
employment, or think you may be soon, the last thing you need is to have a large
fee thrown at you for a service you really need. We ask that you deposit half of
the fee when you hire us. You don't pay the balance until the draft is approved.
You receive a lot of service for $250. We email you in Word (.doc) format your
resume, a professional cover letter (not a template), and a thank you letter. We
mail to you your resume in three formats (.doc, .pdf, and.txt) and all of your
files on an editable CD. This enables you to not only keep your resume updated,
but also gives you the formats you may need for job boards, etc. We also send
you 10 copies of your resume on fine resume paper along with matching envelopes.
We believe in the concept of paying it forward. Referrals are what we live for
and reviews on our website are greatly appreciated. So, please don't believe the
fear tactics put out by others who try to discourage you from trying services
that don't have a physical storefront. Not all scare tactics are true and it's
just not a nice way to discourage legitimate competition.
We look forward to working with you!
